It's Boxing Day, quiet on the roads and quiet here at TC inMax's Big Factory. Max is our landlord and he keeps a keen eye on what goes on in and around his factory precinct. He built these factories with his father-in-law, a family business not unlike our TC community. He and I had a long chat last week about families, extended families and the network of connections that sustain us all.
During this Christmas midway through our fifth year at TC I have had cause for great celebration. I have a fantastic team who have all contributed so much to our business. I wish to acknowledge them all.
"Sir Richard" Clifton and Andrew the Tiger di Pietro keep things running day to day. Richard's coaching is exemplary and Tiger's Trophy Service is booming. Their service to all our customers is excellent and they set the standard for all of us. Shane Mays had made a big contribution since way back in 2007. He has moved on in his work and I'm sure he will be successful in his developing career. Thanks heaps Maysie, couldn't have done it without you. Jo McIntyre has been a cheery & welcome addition to our staff, managing the accounts and making sure everyone gets paid!
Thanks also to our part timers Nathan Potalej, Corey Dineen and of course Big Tom. All of you have made yourselves available, sometimes at very short notice, to help out.
I have so much great feedback regarding our Coaching Programs. Brendan Walsh has been with us since the start. With Glenn Maxwell and of course Richard, Brendan has contributed so much to establish TC's first class reputation. Maxi still gets in and around when he has time and is always prepared to try and give something back to the game. Walshy & Glenn, thanks heaps to both you boys.
Ian Holland is a true allrounder and a natural teacher, 4D's keeping and batting is just flat out and his leadership in our clinics & squad work is outstanding. Michael Sanderson, Jackson Freeman, Patrick Ashton, Jack Harper and Jack Blain all have a solid understanding of the simple & fundamental skills of our game and an enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge of the drills that make for effective "good practice".
So to all my team, to all our loyal customers and to those of you who are relatively new to TC, I wish you all the best to you and your families for 2012 and for the years beyond. We look forward to working with you in growing the game, whether it be improving individual skills or assisting in developing the strength of your club's cricket community.
Thanks again
Cheers
Jim Ahon

Topline Cricket is an indoor cricket centre in Bayswater North, which includes six premium indoor cricket nets and two cricket bowling machines at the rear of their fully stocked cricket warehouse. TC provides the ultimate cricket experience for every cricketer, no matter what age or ability.
TC is a family owned business that has built a great reputation for being friendly and caring. This reputation has flourished from the original foundations set by owner, Jim Ahon. A very deliberate strategy was put in place when Jim took over the business to provide outstanding customer service with an emphasis on genuine care filtering through all aspects of the company. This has set the company in great stead in the past and will continue in to the very distant future.
TC's fully stocked cricket store supports all the big cricket bands such as Kookaburra, Gray Nicolls, Gunn & Moore and many more! The store is situated at the same location as the nets, making Topline Cricket your one stop shop for cricket training and cricket equipment.
