Damien Wright; Victorian Bushranger and Bushranger Fast Bowling Coach

Damien Wright, current Victorian Bushranger and Fast Bowling Coach, is the most recent edition to the Topline Sport's coaching ranks. Originally born in Casino, New South Wales, Damien moved to Tasmania to follow his cricketing dream and this is where he made a name for him self as a 'lion-hearted' performer. After moving to the Victorian bushrangers 2 seasons ago, he is now currently looking to make another huge impression on the 2010/11 season. Damien has come on board at Topline to help fill the shoes of David Saker after his departure as England Fast Bowling Coach early this year. Damien is currently completing his Level 3 coaching certificate and will specialize in Fast Bowling Coaching for all ages and abiliities. Damien has impressed everyone at Topline Sports with his enthusiasm, high-energy levels and willingness to pass on knowledge and the team is excited to see him coaching within our facilities.

The Topline Team would love congratulate David Saker on his appointment as the Bowling Coach of England. I find it difficult to say Sakes is the "English Bowling Coach" as we know he will always be a proud Aussie! We appreciate all his contribution to our Coaching Programs and even though he has crossed over to the dark side, we wish him well in his ongoing career. Let's hope that we see Sakes back in Aussie colours in the future.
